- Tendonitis, Shoulder Stretch and Exercise
Dr. Whatley was very professional and efficient in diagnosing tendonitis in my shoulder. I was afraid that it was more severe so I was releived to find out that some simple exercises would help. Now 6 months later due to Dr. Whatleys expert recommendations, my shoulder is doing great. I would recommend Dr. Whatley to anyone!
My Testimony with Dr. Adam N. Whatley was very well taken care of at BRCO Orthopedic Surgery, Sport Medicine and Shoulder Surgery Total Joint Replacement. âHis staff was very nice, and it is nice to be treated well since you are the patient in need of help. Caring, smiling and laughing is a good atmosphere for patients. I will continue to come here and recommend him to everyone. I was very well taken care of; Dr. Wheatley, his nurse and staff was outstanding I got there and it didnât take ten minutes to see the doctor this was my first time there and it wonât be my last time!!! âThank you so much for the difference you make in the lives of your patients! Your kindness, sincere caring, funny and concern make everything better and are a great encouragement.â âThank you so very much for taking care of me and being so skilled at what you do. Every day of my life will be better because of you. Keep up the good work....
I've seen Dr. Whatley several times now and been consistently pleased with his professional manner and knowledge about my injuries. His office staff are friendly and helpful and his office is very well run. My husband has had a surgery preformed by Dr. Whatley in the past and we were both very pleased with not only the outcome, but also the service provided pre and post op. I recommend Dr. Whatley to all my friends who need Ortho services, (and it seems like that number has gone up as we all have continued to get older!!)
I strongly endorse Dr Adam Whatley, Orthopedic Surgeon, and his team at Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic in Zachary. My wife and I, retired NASA JSC civil servants, moved to St Francisville area in 2015. We joined OLLI@LSU continuing education for adults over 50. When my right hip pain became severe, I asked my OLLI friends for recommendations for an orthopedist. Many of them had excellent results from Dr Whatley and highly recommended him for their hip, knee and/or shoulder surgeries. December 10, 2020 Dr Whatley replaced my right hip at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. When I woke from the anesthesia, the incision hurt a bunch, but the pain in the hip joint was gone. I started home physical therapy Monday Dec 14 for a couple of weeks then started physical therapy with St Francisville Rehab January 6, 2021. My left knee was injured in high-school football and when I get ready to replace it, I will have Dr Adam Whatley do the surgery.
I have roped professionally for years and have had hip damage by doing so. I could not ride a horse or walk comfortably for 2 years before I was told that Dr Whatley had a newer approach to doing a hip replacement. We had spoke to a therapist who had done therapy behind his surgeries and was told his patients were recovering very well. We made an appointment and was the best decision ever.
I was back on a horse and competing in 6 WEEKS!
I cannot recommend Dr Whatley and his staff enough. The facility was excellent in personal care and his staff still contacts us and makes sure all is well.
We live outside Houston Texas and have had procedures done in the medical center. The care in Zachary and the personal attention was way above anything we have had.
THANK YOU DR WHATLEY AND YOUR STAFF!!
- Rotator cuff, knees and hips
To say Dr. Adam Whatley is a great doctor is an understatement. By far he is the most compassionate, caring and pleasant surgeon and doctor I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the most friendly staff, especially his wonderful nurse, Lauri. Never have I been in his office or operating room when he wasn't laid back, smiling, laughing (and always making patients relaxed and laughing). From pre-op visits through post-op visits, I have always felt so well taken care of and was explained anything or everything I had questions about. If other options instead of surgery are available, he will definitely make you aware of them and support your decision to do whatever you feel best at the time. As painful as deep joint injections can be, he has a way of making you laugh or smile while administering them so they're not so bad after all! Dr. Whatley has given me knee, shoulder and hip injections, as well as done surgery on my rotator cuff and a total knee replacement. I know at my age, I'll be looking to trade in some of these old parts for new ones, and Dr. Whatley will be the only one I'll go to! I highly recommend him to anyone who has any orthopedic concerns!
- Rotator cuff / knee replacement
Dr. Adam has been my orthopedic surgeon of choice for the past few years! He has repaired both my shoulders, replaced a knee, and treated multiple problems with injections! I am thankful to have found a doctor that is so easy to work with, has my interests and needs in mind, and treats me like a part of his own family. He has been not only a terrific doctor, but a trusted friend to me, my wife, and my 92 year old mother. He has gone above and beyond to provide personal and professional care to us all and I am forever greatful. Also, his Zachary office is convenient and efficient and I even see him in his New Roads office for follow ups or routine visits. He is what you look for when in need of medical care!
My mom fell and broke her hip in October, and an immediate point of discussion was where she would receive treatment. Once she realized that Dr. Whatley was in Zachary at Lane, she decided to stay local and is quite happy that she did. From explanation to surgery and follow-through, she has been very happy with the care she received from Dr. Whatley and his staff. Much appreciation for a job done well!
Awesome results following Dr. Whatley’s replacement of my knee. Read my story below. As an active outdoorsman (age 66) I was concerned about how a knee replacement would affect my future. For the first time I was truly aware that my way of living would change forever if surgery did not go as planned. Everyone wants a surgery and rehab team that responds to individual circumstances and that’s exactly what I received from Dr. Whatley and his staff. When I had questions post-surgery, Dr. Whatley himself or his staff returned my calls within a few hours. The Br., ORTHO Physical Therapy staff in Zachary, LA was attentive and tuned in to my particular needs and questions post-surgery. My surgery was on 6/8/22 and on 9/1/22, I was able to go on a safety focused fishing trip where I landed a 100 lb., tarpon and other gamefish over twenty-five pounds. I was very careful and had no knee issues. You have to do your part in preparation for surgery and post-surgery rehab, but the juice is worth the squeeze. I have no issues recommending Dr. Whatley to you or my family and friends.
I have been going to Dr. Whatley for bad knees for roughly 10 years. He is funny and down to earth. I finally decided to have knees replaced . Dr. Whatley did an awesome job. Very pleased with results He replaced first one on Dec 2020 and the second on July 2021. Both are doing good. I would recommend him to anyone .
